To crochet the sun amigurumi you will need a 8 ply cotton yarn and 3 mm and 2.5 mm crochet hook. Your finished toy size depends on your tension and materials you use.

- Safety eyes
- Embroidery thread
- Tapestry needle

MR – magic ring
Sc – single crochet
Ch – chain
SI – slip
Dc – double crochet
Tr – treble crochet
Hdc – half double crochet
BLO – back loop only
Inc – increase
Dec – decrease
Dctr – Dc and Tr in the same stitch
Trdc – Tr and Dc in the same stitch
Attention! There is a wee mistake in the pattern of the rays: on where you start the round (Rays at back) – I mean the last front loop of round 11.
