Get ready to create a cute little hippo with this free amigurumi pattern! The body and legs are crocheted as a single part. The arms are attached with single crochet as you crochet the body part, other parts are crocheted separately. The size of the finished amigurumi hippo is about 13 cm (5.1″).

Scarf
The scarf in the first photo is crocheted with single crochets. Two other scarves are knitted with the I-cord technique.
Assembly
Sew the head to the body.
Fold the ears and sew them on the head.
Sew the muzzle under eyes, stuffing it with fiberfill.
Embroider eyebrows and lashes using a black thread, and nostrils using a grey yarn.
