Easter is just around the corner, and time to crochet something Spring, like this cute amigurumi chick with bunny ears. This Easter crochet pattern includes a chick in egg shell and a small carrot.

You will need:
- YarnArt Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic)
- 2.0-2.5 mm crochet hook
- 8 mm safety eyes
- Orange embroidery floss or yarn for beak
- Pink dry pastel crayon for cheeks and ears
- Sewing needle and scissors
- Fiberfill
Easter chick free amigurumi pattern
Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row
(…) – repeat whatever is between the brackets the given number of times
Head-body
With yellow yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]

Assembly
Embroider a nose with orange yarn.
Sew wings to the body.
Sew ears on the head.
Sew egg shell to the body.
Tint ears and cheeks using dry pastel crayon.
