Crochet pumpkin free amigurumi pattern

Introducing the cute free amigurumi pumpkin pattern for Halloween! Isn’t this crochet pumpkin just adorable? You can use any kind of yarn and crochet hook, the only thing it will change is the size of the finished pumpkin.

You will need:

• YarnArt Jeans yarn (blue, green, light green, brown and orange)
• 2.0-2.5 mm crochet hook
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
• Fiberfill

Abbreviations:
R – row
ch – chain
st – stitch
sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)
BLO – back loop only
[…] – number of stitches you should have at the end of the row

Fasten off and leave a long tail for tightening the pumpkin.

Take a leaving yarn tail and thread it down through the center of the pumpkin. Wrap the yarn around the outside of the pumpkin, and thread it back through the center. Pull the yarn as tight as you need to achieve the desired shape. Repeat this step again and again until you have a 8 puffy parts to your pumpkin.

Green twig (make 3)
With green yarn:
Make 3 ch, in the 3rd chain from the hook: 3 dc, sl st.
Continue crocheting:
(Make 9 ch, in the the 3rd chain from the hook: 3 dc, sl st) – repeat 3 times
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Stem
With brown yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]

R 5-6: 18 sc (2 rows)

Make 25 ch.
R 1: From the 3rd chain from the hook: 4 dc in every st to the end of row.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Form the flower and sew it to the pumpkin.
