Amigurumi Totoro keychain free pattern

Amigurumi Tototro keychain is a simple project but still absolutely cute. This free and easy amigurumi pattern will help you make a little Totoro keychain with your own hands. The body and head of the crochet Totoro are made as one piece saving you time on sewing.

You will need:

• ΥarnАrt Јеаns yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50 g/160 m): grey, white and black colors
• 2.0 mm crochet hook
• 5-6 mm safety eyes
• Black embroidery floss
• Sewing needle
• Scissors
• Fiberfill
• Keychain ring

Height: 6-7 cm (2.3-2.7″) without ears

inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)

Body and head
With grey yarn:
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (inc) repeat 6 times [12]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: 24 sc
R 6: (7 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [27]
R 7: (8 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [30]
R 8: 30 sc
R 9: (9 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [33]
R 10: (10 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [36]
R 11-19: 36 sc (9 rows)
Insert safety eyes between R 7 and R 8 at the distance of 6 st from each other.

Belly
With white yarn:

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

R 3: inc, 1 sc, inc, 1 sc [6]
R 4-6: 6 sc (3 rows)
Fasten off.

Arms (make 2)
R 1: 6 sc in magic ring [6]
R 2: (1 sc, inc) repeat 3 times [9]
R 3-7: 9 sc (5 rows)
Don’t stuff with fiberfill.
Fold the top opening flat and 4 sc through both sides.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly
Embroider the nose, mouth and whiskers with black floss.
Sew the ears on the head.
Sew the belly to the body.
Embroider ticks on the belly with grey yarn.
