This free amigurumi crochet dog pattern is perfect for the Dalmatian dog lover! The legs and body are worked in one piece together. So, you need to sew the head and tail to the body and the muzzle and ears on the head. The arms are crocheted into the body with single crochets. The finished size of the amigurumi Dalmatian dog is 13 cm (5″) height.

Amigurumi Dalmatian dog crochet pattern

Head
Make some black spots for the Dalmatian dog, placed randomly. The black spots are worked changing color.
R 1: 7 sc in magic ring [7]
R 2: (inc) repeat 7 times [14]
R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 7 times [21]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 7 times [28]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 7 times [35]

Insert safety eyes between R 13 and R 14, 5 stitches apart.

Assembly

Using a black thread, embroider eyelashes, brows and line on the muzzle.
You can also embroider eye whites with a white yarn.
Insert safety nose as shown in the picture above. Sew the muzzle under eyes, stuffing it lightly with fiberfill.
Sew the ears on the head from R 5.
Sew the head to the body, then sew the tail on the back side of body.

Eye tightening

Eye tightening for amigurumi dog

Insert a long needle under the muzzle (point #1) and draw it out the point #2, then insert the needle in the point #3 and draw it out the point #4. Pull slightly.
Repeat 2 times.
Tie the ends together and hide remaining yarn tails under the muzzle.
