Create your own cute little hamster amigurumi with this free crochet pattern. The head and body are worked in one piece together. Other details are worked separately and sewn on afterwards. The finished size of the amigurumi hamster is about 7 cm (2.8″) height.

- YarnArt Jeans yarn (55% cotton, 45% acrylic, 50 g/160 m)
- 1.75 mm crochet hook
- 4-6 mm safety eyes
- Needle for sewing
- Scissors
- Stitch marker
- Pastel pink pencil or blush
- Fiberfill stuffing

sl st – slip stitch
sc – single crochet
dc – double crochet
hdc – half double crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)

Cheeks (make 2)
With white color yarn:

Sl st, fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
When sewing the cheeks, fill a little with fiberfill.
Ears (make 2)
With beige or sand color yarn:
R 1: 6-7 sc in magic ring
Do not join to the first sc.
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Arms (make 2)
Start with pink color yarn:
R 1: 5 sc in magic ring [5]
R 2: 4 sc, inc [6]
Change to beige or sand color yarn:
R 3: 5 sc, 1 inc [7]
R 4-9: 7 sc (6 rows)
Do not stuff or stuff just a little bit.

With pink color yarn:

Sew the details together.
Embroider a nose and eye brows using a brown yarn.
Tint the cheeks with pastel pink pencil or blush.
