    1. (I know I’m late – but for anyone else) ch5, turn and starting from 2nd loop from hook sc along (4), ch1 and turn. For every row BLO sc4, ch1 turn. Do this until your scarf is as long as you want. In the photo it looks like it’s just a collar and both ends are joined (but I made mine longer). Hope this helps!

  1. Please, for the polar bear with gray scarf it says to use 1.5 mm hook…
    1. Is that a U.S. size?
    2. Is that a steel hook?
    3. If it is a steel hook can you use a medium weight red heart yarn?

    Appreciate the help.
    Waiting Anxiously for your response
    Thanks gracie

  2. I used an E-3.5mm hook with worsted (medium) weight yarn. The bear will be bigger than the pattern, however it still worked up perfectly.

    1. I have been trying to figure out how big the bear will be according to this pattern..could you help with the size.?
I am planning to use four plus yarn .do I still use the same pattern?

  3. For a scarf:

    Ch 7
    1. Sc 2ch from hook, sc5, ch 1, turn (6)
    2. Sc 6 in back loop only, ch 1, turn

Repeat row 2 until desired length. Fasten off and sew ends together around bear’s neck.
