Amigurumi plush frog keychain free pattern

The amigurumi plush frog keychain is a free crochet pattern by Tatyana Gusarova. This pattern is easy and suitable for beginners and new crocheters. For this pattern the body and head are made as one piece.

You will need:

• Hiamalaya Dolphin Baby yarn (less than half a skein)
• YarnArt Jeans yarn or embroidery floss (black)
• 4.5 mm crochet hook
• 14 mm safety eyes
• Sewing needle and scissors
• Stitch markers and pins
• Fiberfill
• Keychain ring

Height: 8-10 cm (3-4″)

sc – single crochet
inc – increase (2 sc in one stitch)
dec – decrease (2 sc together)

Stuff as you go.

R 3: (1 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [18]
R 4: (2 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [24]
R 5: (3 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [30]
R 6: (4 sc, inc) repeat 6 times [36]
R 7-8: 36 sc (2 rows)
R 9: (4 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [30]
R 10: (3 sc, dec) repeat 6 times [24]

Fasten off.

Eyes (make 2)
R 1: 2 ch, 6 sc in 2nd ch from hook [6]

R 3: 12 sc

Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.
Insert safety eyes between R 3 and R 4.
Stuff gently with fiberfill.

Arms (make 2)
Make 6 ch, leaving a long tail for sewing.
Sew arms to the body.

Legs (make 2)
R 1: 2 ch, 5 sc in 2nd ch from hook [5]
R 2-5: 5 sc (4 rows)
Fasten off and leave a long tail for sewing.

Assembly
Sew details to the body.
Embroider a mouth with YarnArt Jeans yarn.
Attach key ring or chain on middle top of the head.
